At Rusagonis Baptist Church, we encourage people to be involved in three ways:

Participate

As a regular participant of Sunday morning church service, for the purpose of worship

Grow

As a member of a Bible Study or Prayer Group, for the purpose of growing in faith

Serve

As a volunteer in one of our ministries, for the purpose of serving God by serving others

Children

At Rusagonis Baptist Church, we are committed to valuing children:

We believe every child deserves to be loved for who they are, and for the way God made them. (Psalm 139:14)
We believe church should be fun for children – not stuffy or boring! (Psalm 149:3)
We believe children are able to have a personal relationship with God, and should be given every opportunity to develop that relationship. (Luke 18:16)
We believe children should hear of God’s never ending love for them. (John 3:16)
We believe parents should feel confident that their children are being entrusted to a safe, affirming, and nurturing environment. (Matthew 18:5-6)

Abba’s Joy is our Sunday morning worship program designed specifically for children (Age 4-Grade5). It starts and finishes at the same time as our regular morning worship service for adults. *Nursery is available for younger children.

(*Note that during the pandemic, we have temporarily suspended our regular nursery program. We welcome young children to stay with parents during worship, and have opened the nursery space for parents who might want to accompany their own child there at any time)

KIDMO! is our mid-week girls and boys club for grades K-5. Meetings are Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30pm. The 2021/22 KIDMO! season starts on October 5. Fee: $30 for 1st Child, $15 for 2nd, $10 for each additional.

Youth

The Upper Room

Sunday Morning Bible and Life Study

The Upper Room is concurrent with our Sunday morning worship service (10:30am), and is a place where youth have freedom to interact with one another and to ask questions that relate Christian faith to their personal life journey.

Youth Group

Youth Group is activity-based, with lots of creative and sometimes “wacky” games, outings, and events. The goal is to enable youth to meaningfully connect with God in everyday life. The 2021/22 Youth Group season starts September 29.

Middle School: Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45pm

High School: Wednesdays, 7:15- 8:30pm
