Two families participated in Child Dedications on Sunday, January 27th.  Jeremy & Vanessa McWilliams dedicated their daughter, Elise, to the Lord, while Everett & Haley Arbeau dedicated their son, Ben.  The act of child dedication is simply an opportunity for families to declare their commitment to raise their child in Christian faith, and to invite the church family to support them in the process.

In addition to a dedication certificate, each of the families received a book by Max Lucado, entitled You Are Special.  And because Pastor Brent has been teaching on the Five Love Languages on Sunday mornings, each family also received The Five Love Languages for Children, by Gary Chapman, as a bonus gift.
